Delete your account in the app
If you can access your account, open Meldi and go to:
Settings > Delete Account
Follow the on-screen steps to permanently delete your account.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at devbecontact@gmail.com.
Use the subject line: Meldi Account Deletion Request
Please email us from the email address connected to your Meldi account. If you used third-party sign-in, include the sign-in email, your Meldi username if you know it, and your country.
What will be deleted
When your account is deleted, Meldi attempts to delete or remove:
- Your account and authentication record.
- Your profile information.
- Profile photos.
- Chat conversations and messages involving your account.
- Chat media uploaded by your account.
- Private photo verification uploads connected to your account.
What may be retained
Some information may be kept for a limited time if needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backups, audit logs, moderation, or protecting other users.
Some content may also remain if it was already viewed, copied, cached, included in notifications, or needed in moderation/support records.
How long it takes
We will review deletion requests and respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days unless a different period is required or allowed by law.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Meldi account does not automatically cancel an app store subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it through your app store account settings.
